About Me
My first taste of travel was a week-long friend trip to Alberta Canada in September 2023 over my birthday. However, my current travel addiction didn't truly evolve until Costa Rica in April 2024, when I went on a two-week Indigenous work-study trip through my school without knowing anyone! Since then I felt way more confident and excited about travelling and went to London, England where my favourite memory was watching Hamilton, the musical, at Victoria Palace Theatre. The next trips off the bucket list were Vermont, USA; Edinburgh, Scotland; Paris, France; Colorado, USA; and, in my own beautiful country, British Columbia, Canada. Being on the road or in the air meant I couldn't get a pet for myself, so during my travels in Canada, I house-sit all types of animals from dogs to cats, donkeys, goats, bunnies, chickens, and ducks. This has helped me get my fill of quality time with the animals I adore!
I knew I wanted to travel and have a flexible schedule where I could work from anywhere. This has led me to the world of freelance graphic design. This field was the right choice as I've started many small Etsy art shops over the years. Knowing that I am creative with an entrepreneurial mindset, studying Graphic Design was the perfect path! I went to Algonquin College in Canada's capital for three years, worked at a creative marketing agency in Hamilton Ontario for a year, decided to go back to school for a Social Media Marketing post-grad, and have now started freelancing as a graphic designer and social media manager with various companies!
